Growing up in Germany, building my life in Italy and working in Uganda has given me the opportunity to experience very different business cultures from the inside. Every market has its own strengths, expectations and way of building relationships. Understanding those differences creates opportunities that go far beyond language.
Over the past twenty years, I’ve worked with entrepreneurs, executives and leadership teams across Europe, Asia and East Africa. I’ve seen how organizations grow, how leadership changes as businesses expand and how successful companies build bridges between different cultures rather than trying to make everyone work in the same way.
I understand both the ambition and the realities of doing business in Uganda. Building trust often comes before contracts. Relationships matter as much as strategy. Business may move at a different rhythm than in Germany, while expectations around planning, communication and decision-making can vary widely between international partners. My role is not to replace one approach with another, but to help leaders combine the strengths of both worlds and build businesses that are confident locally and competitive internationally.
